Coating

Whether hard chrome, electroless nickel, composite coating, or Selectron – these coating processes ensure the functionality of your components and save you time and money through extended service life and improved performance.

In order to achieve optimal coating properties for your workpiece, we offer customized solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, from the design of individual fixtures to precise coating.

Electroless Nickel Plating

Complex parts? Achieve precision and reliability with electroless nickel.

In contrast to electroplating, electroless nickel scores points with its absolute dimensional accuracy and contour-true deposition. Whether tips, angles, drill holes, or recesses – the coating is completely uniform, even on complex structures or internal surfaces.

Depending on your area of application, layer thickness ranges from 2 to 100 µm. Due to the crack-free and amorphous deposition, extremely high corrosion protection is achieved. The hardness can be increased from 500 HV to up to 950 HV by heat treatment, resulting in a significant improvement in wear resistance.

Hard Chrome Plating

Heavy-duty use? Hard chrome’s got you covered.

In hard chrome plating, chrome layers are applied directly to the base material by means of electrolysis – with layer thicknesses ranging from 0.5 µm to 1 mm. This results in surfaces with extreme hardness of up to 1,000 HV that are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and durable.

Multi-layer processes can be used to further increase corrosion resistance, while the low coefficient of friction and anti-adhesive properties offer additional advantages.

Thanks to the low temperatures of the chrome baths, the structure of the base material remains unchanged, without distortion or structural changes.

For perfect chrome deposition on your individual components, we manufacture precise, dimensionally accurate fixtures in-house.

Composite Coatings

Double the protection, double the peace of mind.

Combining hard chrome with electroless nickel brings together the best of both processes, delivering superior resistance to corrosion and wear.

A composite coating is the perfect solution for components facing both heavy mechanical stress and corrosive environments – such as those used offshore.

Selectron

Specialized, flexible, and cost-effective

This selective coating process allows you to target and restore only the damaged sections of a workpiece – no need for the hassle of disassembly, transport, or mechanical reworking.

That makes the Selectron method the perfect solution for repairing installed components – efficient, precise, and budget-friendly.

Mechanical Processing

With our advanced machining processes, we make sure your workpieces are finished to exact tolerances – whether to compensate for wear or to correct manufacturing inaccuracies.

Using state-of-the-art technology and the highest level of precision, we process your components using various grinding and polishing methods to ensure that they meet the requirements in terms of function and appearance.

Repairs

PRECISELY RESTORED TO TOP CONDITION

Cylindrical components such as piston rods, cylinders, or rollers that have suffered heavy wear or damage can often be restored to peak through chrome plating and subsequent precision grinding to exact specifications.

This approach not only restores worn parts but also helps you avoid costly replacements when new components don’t meet the required tolerances.

We save you valuable time and money while delivering the highest levels of accuracy and quality.

Cylindrical Grinding

PERFECTLY BROUGHT INTO SHAPE

Cylindrical grinding, industrial sanding, and polishing processes are essential both for preparing surfaces for premium coatings and for achieving the final perfection in dimension and surface finish.

With a roundness accuracy of 0.01 mm and a surface roughness as low as Ra 0.015 µm, we achieve a level of perfection that meets even the most demanding quality standards.
